OCTOBER 10

SNOQUALMIE, WA

Each October, the Northwest Railway Museum invites families aboard beautifully decorated historic passenger coaches for a festive ride through the scenic Upper Snoqualmie Valley. Along the journey, passengers enjoy spectacular fall colors before stopping at the Railway History Campus, where seasonal activities include hot cider, live cider-press demonstrations, crafts, historic games, music, and plenty of family-friendly Halloween fun.

The museum keeps the decorations just spooky enough for little ghosts and goblins, making this one of the Pacific Northwest's most beloved family Halloween traditions. Costumes are encouraged for guests of all ages, and children in costume receive a special surprise.

Details: Approximately 2 hours round-trip with a 30-minute stop at the Railway History Campus.

Admission: Advance tickets are highly recommended as many departures sell out. Tickets typically go on sale in mid-August.

Fest Tip: Wear your Halloween costume! Not only does it make the ride even more magical, but you'll fit right in with the festive atmosphere and kids in costume receive a special treat.
