PORT TOWNSEND WITCHES’ WALK
OCTOBER 2026
PORT TOWNSEND, WA
Whether you're a seasoned spellcaster or a first-time witch, the Port Townsend Witch Walk Spooktacular welcomes everyone to celebrate Halloween together. Participants gather in costume before filling the streets with capes, broomsticks, pointed hats, enchanted creatures, and magical mischief as they parade through one of Washington's most charming Victorian seaports.
After the walk, the celebration continues with costume judging, family-friendly festivities, treats for children, raffles, and awards recognizing everything from the Best Witch and Best Wizard to the Best Hat and Best Broom. Recent events have also featured a community costume swap, making the celebration as sustainable as it is magical.
Location: The festivities begin at Haller Fountain in downtown Port Townsend before the community parade makes its way to the American Legion Hall for contests and activities
Admission: FREE community event. Thanks to local sponsors, participation is free for all ages.
Fest Tip: Go all out with your costume! Creative broomsticks, dramatic hats, glowing lanterns, and enchanted accessories make the Witch Walk even more magical—and could help you take home a costume award.
